"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89)
Today, we will focus on how the Word (Jesus) relates to the word. We learned, during day 1, that the word is a big part of Psalm 119 but exactly what does that mean?? Many have been confused. We will talk about the word but for now, we must discuss the living Word.
Brought to us by Apostle George L. Maitland:
We don't believe without faith. We don't faith without a concept, and we don't concept without a precept.
Faith is gifted of God, but before he gives you faith, he provides the precept and the concept.
The really great thing about this is God provides the whole thing. It is his work in us!
We are all gifted with faith, but each in his/her own time.
The Word of God is not the scripture; the scripture testifies of the Word of God. This is a fundamental Christian mistake, one too often spread. The ORIGINAL INTENTION is The Word of GOD. And He came in the flesh, and died, was buried, and resurrected. We are to find our life in Him. The scripture testifies of Him. He is life aionian, in scripture you don't find that life. Only in HIM!!
Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God not the scripture!!
The love of scripture is fundamental just not first.
I hope you enjoyed reading what this man of God has delivered!!
Theme of the day: Servitude begins inside with your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and outward expressions result.
